Player Code of Conduct

As a member of Elite Kickers Soccer, I am aware that my conduct reflects on the entire club. I commit to the following standards and understand that failing to adhere to them may result in disciplinary actions, including possible removal from the team:

  1. Respect and Fair Play: Avoid confrontations with opponents, coaches, and spectators. Celebrate victories humbly and accept defeats graciously.
  2. Language and Behavior: Refrain from using abusive, offensive, or vulgar language at any time.
  3. Support and Team Spirit: Recognize and support the efforts of coaches and teammates. Commit to attending all team events on time and well-prepared.
  4. Dedication and Positivity: Work diligently and maintain a positive attitude throughout all team activities.
  5. Communication: Keep my availability and contact details up-to-date and actively participate in all team communications.
  6. Game Knowledge: Assist my family in understanding the game to enhance their enjoyment and support.
  7. Respect for Officials: Respect decisions made by referees and avoid disputing their calls.
  8. Safety and Wellbeing: Avoid any actions that could harm the physical, emotional, or mental well-being of anyone involved in the game.
  9. Teammate Support: Be supportive, respectful, and kind to all teammates and opponents.


Parent Code of Conduct

As a parent or supporter of an Elite Kickers Soccer player, I understand the importance of setting a positive example. I will:

  1. Encouragement and Positivity: Encourage my child to strive for their best, adhere to the player code, and maintain a positive attitude.
  2. Respectful Interaction: Avoid conflicts with anyone involved in games, including opposing spectators and coaches.
  3. Stay Informed: Regularly check team communications to stay informed about updates and events.
  4. Support for Coaches: Acknowledge the commitment of the coaches and support them positively.
  5. Guidance, Not Coaching: Refrain from coaching or giving game-time instructions.
  6. Respectful Language: Maintain a respectful tone and avoid any abusive language.
  7. Conflict Resolution: Address any concerns with coaches or officials calmly and through the proper channels after a 24hr cooling-off period.
  8. Ensuring Commitment: Ensure my child is punctual and properly equipped for all team events.
  9. Official Decisions: Respect the authority of game officials and their decisions.
  10. Field Etiquette: Never enter the field unless invited by an official.
  11. Safety and Wellbeing: Prioritize the safety and well-being of all players.
  12. ​​Understanding Playing Time: Acknowledge that playing time is at the discretion of the coach, based on the flow of the game and team needs.


Coach Code of Conduct

As a coach for Elite Kickers Soccer, I recognize my role as a mentor and leader. I commit to:

  1. Positive Environment: Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all players.
  2. Equality and Respect: Treat every player with respect and provide equal opportunities.
  3. Role Modeling: Exemplify sportsmanship, integrity, and professionalism.
  4. Communication: Maintain open, honest, and respectful communication with players and their families.
  5. Training Excellence: Plan and execute engaging and effective training sessions.
  6. Respect for Officials: Show respect for referees and their decisions, avoiding confrontations.
  7. Language and Conduct: Lead by example, refraining from any abusive language or behavior.
  8. Adherence to Policies: Uphold the club’s policies and support its mission and values.
  9. Issue Resolution: Address any player or parent concerns promptly and professionally.
  10. Inspiration and Development: Encourage players to reach their full potential and enjoy their soccer experience.

 

Code of Conduct Violations and Consequences

Consequences for conduct violations will be based on the nature of the behavior. Any extreme behavior or incident that results in a player or parent being ejected from a game may lead to the following:

  • 1st offense: Warning from the coach.
  • 2nd offense: Player to sit out an additional game (in addition to any red card mandates).
  • 3rd offense: Possible expulsion from the Club (without canceling payment obligations) following a review by the Director panel.

 

These guidelines are designed to uphold the integrity of Elite Kickers Soccer and ensure a positive, supportive, and enjoyable experience for all members.
