Policies

Refunds and Cancellations

We understand that unexpected circumstances and injuries can occur, but to maintain team cohesion and accurate budgeting, Elite Kickers Soccer follows a strict refund and cancellation policy. All remaining installments must be paid on time unless a refund is issued. Refunds will only be issued if Elite Kickers Soccer cancels the entire program.

  • Serious Injury or Illness:
    • Players who suffer a serious injury or illness before the season starts can receive a full refund if a replacement is found.
    • No refunds are available for injuries or illnesses that occur during the season.
  • Family Relocation:
    • If a family moves out of Virginia before the season starts, the player can receive a full refund if a replacement is found.
  • Code of Conduct Violation:
    • Serious or repeated violations can lead to team removal with no refund.
  • Player Transfers:
    • Players who leave the Club after Fall practices have begun must pay all Club and team fees before being released.
    • Mid-year transfers are governed by league rules.

Multi-Player Discounts

  • Families with more than one player in travel sports are eligible for a 10% discount on Elite Kickers Soccer fees for any additional travel players beyond three who are registered at full price.

Attendance Policy

  • Players are expected to attend all practices and games unless excused due to illness, injury, or other unavoidable circumstances. Repeated unexcused absences may result in reduced playing time or dismissal from the team.

Uniform and Equipment

  • Players are responsible for maintaining their uniforms and equipment in good condition throughout the season.

Behavioral Expectations

  • All players, parents, and coaches are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and respectful behavior towards teammates, opponents, referees, and staff. Any form of bullying, discrimination, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.

Communication Policy

  • Parents and players should promptly communicate any concerns or issues to coaches or club staff. Open and respectful communication is encouraged to maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Grievance Procedure

  • If a player or parent has a concern or grievance, they should first address it with the coach. If unresolved, they may escalate the matter to club administration for further review.

Photography and Video Consent

By registering with Elite Kickers Soccer, you acknowledge and grant EKS the right to take photos and videos of your player during practices, games, tournaments, and other club events. These images and videos may be used for:

  • Video Analysis: Reviewing game footage and training sessions to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Sharing highlights, achievements, and club activities on EKS social media channels, newsletters, and the EKS website.

Players and families are encouraged to share and promote EKS content responsibly, maintaining a positive and respectful tone on social media.
