EKS Travel Academy
Age Groups
Our teams are organized into three stages: Pre-Academy, Junior Academy and Academy. Each stage has its own coaching focus, and all of them follow the same EKS curriculum, so players build on what they learned the season before. Age groups follow U.S. Soccer's school-year format, with an August 1 cutoff.
Stage 1 · U7–U8
Pre-Academy
Players fall in love with the ball. Every session is built around ball mastery, first touch and 1v1 moves, with as many touches per player as possible.

Stage 2 · U9–U12
Junior Academy
Technique under pressure. Players learn to play out from the back, combine with teammates, read the game and make decisions at speed.

Stage 3 · U13–U16
Academy
Technical detail with tactical understanding of the 11v11 game. Demanding, varied sessions that prepare players for the next level.
