EKS Travel Academy

An academy pathway for every age

Travel soccer built the way European academies develop players: a clear curriculum, coaches who demonstrate, and a pathway from a player's first team to the 11v11 game.

The EKS Difference

Development is our specialty. This is what that means on the field, every week.

An academy curriculum

Every team follows the EKS Player Development Curriculum. Technical mastery comes first: first touch, change of direction and ball mastery, built season after season.

Coaches who show it

Our coaches demonstrate every technique on the field and explain why it matters. Players learn by seeing it done properly, then repeating it.

More touches, every session

Small-sided games and purposeful repetition mean every player is on the ball constantly. More touches lead to faster development.

Trained to play up

Sessions are pitched to challenge. Most EKS players are trained to compete a year above their age group.

Video and analysis

Games are filmed and reviewed so players can see their own decisions, learn from them and track their progress.

A team that grows up together

We build teams to stay together, with families involved at every level. It is a small club by design, so every player is known and coached as an individual.

The Pathway

Three stages, each building on the last. Players move through them with the same curriculum and the same coaching standards.

  1. Stage 1 · U7–U8

    Pre-Academy

Players fall in love with the ball. Every session is built around ball mastery, first touch and 1v1 moves, with as many touches per player as possible.

  2. Stage 2 · U9–U12

    Junior Academy

Technique under pressure. Players learn to play out from the back, combine with teammates, read the game and make decisions at speed.

  3. Stage 3 · U13–U16

    Academy

Technical detail with tactical understanding of the 11v11 game. Demanding, varied sessions that prepare players for the next level.
